PUBLIC ACCESS TO MEETINGS   ()

 

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of the Council, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of an exempt or confidential nature.
Public Forum is available at the beginning of each Town Council and Planning & General Purposes Committee meetings for Electors to speak on agenda items appertaining to the Township at the Chair’s discretion.
 
It is preferable to give the Town Clerk notice if you seek permission to speak. Meetings take place at Falcon Cross Hall Falcon Cross Road Shanklin on the 2nd and 4th Thursday in the month at 19.30pm. (except August & December).
 
The meeting dates for the municipal year 2012 -2013 are, (subject to amendment) as follows:

Thursday 14/6/12, 12/7/12, 13/9/12, 11/10/12, 8/11/12, 10/1/13, 14/2/13, 14/3/13, 11/4/13, 9/5/13.
Planning & General Purposes Committee
Thursday 28/6/12, 26/7/12, 27/9/12, 25/10/12, 22/11/12, 24/1/13, 28/2/13, 25/4/13.
Annual Town Meeting Thursday 28/3/2013
Annual Town Council Meeting Monday 13/5/13.
